Conclusion

This quarter has been a lot of fun learning a bunch of new things. At first, I was hesitant to take this class because of the time slot. Now that I know how much fun this class gets, I would love to take this class again. I will also consider Jason’s offer of revisiting his class from time to time. I honestly did not have an idea of what I was getting myself into. I thought this class was going be discussing the implications and influence of emerging technology. I was pleasantly surprised with this class!

Back in blog number three, I did state that I was going to dabble in Second Life. I am here to sadly report that I did not go back to the game. Life and school got ahead of me, and I had to sprint to catch up. I did not have any time to then maintain a second life (pun intended) online! I think Second Life is a great game for those who can procrastinate. I already have my vices for procrastination, and they sadly do not include playing a social game.

I can say that I do not enjoy blogging, nor do I think I am good at it. The people skills that I have are not conveyed well over the online world. I attached another blog that I had done for Communication 260 in my individual website. To be honest, it was more like writing assignments than blogging. While this assignment does have similarities, it leans more towards blogging and is not as formal.

I realize that I really enjoy InDesign. Photoshop is not as horrible as I remember. However, my past Photoshop experience was with photographs instead of stock images. I enjoy Photoshop a lot more when I have freedom to create whatever I like. Audacity was very easy to navigate, but podcasts are not my thing. Audio is just not my forte.

Here are some videos that I love watching. It is a random assortment of music, but these are the tunes that are prominent in my everyday life. Enjoy and hope to converse with all of you all next quarter!

Big Bang; A Korean boy band and my loves!

This is a very recent guilty pleasure! I apologize for the swearing.

And of course, my favorite song from Guardians of the Galaxy!
